DA Approved Ocean Front Headland at Palm Cove for Sale
The last remaining ocean front headland at Palm Cove on Queensland’s tropical north coast with development approvals in place is being offered for sale by Ray White Commercial Cairns.
The approximately 6.73ha site on Williams Esplanade, Palm Cove, is being marketed in an Expressions of Interest campaign by Ray White Commercial Cairns Principal Dennis Crossley.
Dennis Crossley said the site has Cairns Regional Council approved proposals in place for a world class resort, a unit development or a residential subdivision.
“This is one of the most significant land offerings on the tropical north coast this year,” he said.
“It’s the last remaining absolute beachfront headland development site on the far northern east coast of North Queensland and is nestled in the jewel of Cairns beaches.”
Dennis Crossley said among the council approvals was a multi-unit residential housing development for 122 self-contained residential units in two and three storey buildings.
“There’s also approval for an integrated tourist resort development featuring 107 luxury suites and 18 serviced apartments as well as a restaurant and other guest services,” he said.
“The other approval is for a community-titled residential housing subdivision of 27 residential lots.”
Dennis Crossley said there had already been strong international and interstate interest in the site.
Palm Cove, which has pristine beaches and a fine selection of restaurants and casual eateries, is situated within easy commuting distance to Cairns city, being just 25km north of the Cairns CBD and 20km from Cairns International Airport
“Palm Cove is a popular tourist destination which also offers a tremendous lifestyle for families as there is a wide selection of schools, shopping centres and recreational facilities in the area,” Mr Crossley said.
Expressions of Interest for the site close on Friday, December 12, 2014.
